Now, think of your own difficult situations for your classmates to practise.

What is the structure of these conditionals?

IF+SUBJECT+PRESENT SIMPLE+SUBJECT+WILL+BASE FORM

SUBJECT+WILL+BASE FORM+IF+SUBJECT+PRESENT SIMPLE


HYPOTHESES:

IF+SUBJECT+PAST SIMPLE+SUBJECT+WOULD+BASE FORM

or...

SUBJECT+WOULD+BASE FORM+IF+SUBJECT+PAST SIMPLE

WRITE AS MANY DIFFERENT "IF" PHRASES FOR THIS PHRASE AS POSSIBLE:

Example: if you don't treat them well




NOW COMPLETE THE SENTENCES IN AS MANY DIFFERENT WAYS AS POSSIBLE:


If the train is late...

Example: the passengers will miss the bus.



NOW DIVIDE INTO TWO TEAMS

TEAM A: Each person has to think of a sentence with will. Example: Global warming will stop.

TEAM B: Each person has to think of a sentence with if+present simple.


Now, find people to form sentences,  Both people have to write them down.

1st ROUND: The sentences have to make sense

2nd ROUND: The more absurd the sentences, the better.
