THE PASSIVE VOICE.

SONG: YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF ME

Listen without lyrics and complete the worksheet.

Now listen with lyrics and check.

Look at the context. What do these expressions mean?

-Barely holding on= Is it difficult or easy to stand this situation ?

-Don't count me out = don't think that I am interested or finished?

-I can take it = I am strong enough or I am good enough?

-I was built tough = I am naturally strong, I have made myself strong or both are possible?

-To bring someone down to their knees. How does it appear in the song?

-Way past the point of breaking = I might have broken or I couldn't have broken?

-This is far from over = This will be over soon or I have a lot of life and action ahead of me?

Can you rewrite the title using different words? Example: I intend to go on. (intend is a false friend, careful!)

What does the song express?
